Interview with Atropos Health CEO Brigham Hyde

Brigham Hyde lost his mom to cancer when he was 14, and he's devoted his career to ensuring that other families don’t endure the same tragedy. His current venture, Atropos Health is a really exciting company, which is translating the promise of real world data into patient-specific prognostograms that guide difficult treatment decisions.

For example, a physician was able to gain insight into how to treat a diabetic patient with melanoma without fear of renal failure. The randomized clinical trial that led to the cancer treatment's approval explicitly excluded diabetics, so real world data was needed to answer the question.

In this podcast, Brigham recounts his education and career as a health care data entrepreneur. He also shares his favorite books, which upon reflection he realizes may be a bit too serious!
