Bill and Melinda Gates as Time's Persons of the Year

TIME Magazine has names Bill Gates, Melinda Gates, and Bono as its "Persons of the Year" for their role in improving global health and helping to eradicate poverty. Don't know about the others, but Bill Gates is a man who understands scalable business models --which has been great for vaccines in particular. After he resolves global HIV/AIDS and malaria, I hope he has enough spare change left over to help us sort out the US health care system.
